Better to have not loved at all, it hurts too damn much, and you don't get stronger each time, you just realise it's easier to keep people at arms length that's all

Yes its better to have the experience of being loved and lost. Then you know what you lost. If you have not loved at all, you wouldn't even know what you missed out in life!!
Having loved and lost makes us all humane and richer by the experiences and times shared with the loved one. Some live on through life, clinging on to such memories of their loved ones. So its the better option

love and be loved ! U dont always need to be lost in ur love!
as a matter of fact being loved is far better than being alone BUT your two choices are extremes -u can jus be loved than anything else!
