I look for meaningful movies that address the big issues in life and help me get perspective. Movies like:
Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle
Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
Kung Fu Hustle
The 40 Year Old Virgin
The New Guy
National Lampoon's Van Wilder
Any Jet Li movie
Breakups often hurt, are always disappointing, tend to leave us feeling despondent and humorless. It's important to remind ourselves that life can still be fun and funny.

I made the mistake of watching A Walk to Remember after my last breakup and bawled my eyes out. Never again! I like Old School, Dodgeball, Anchorman... that kind of movie now.

I pick the saddest and grimest movie in the videoclub, so I have one more reason to cry all the night. And after a night of crying, gosh, you feel better, and you begin to live again...

oh my, did you just break up with someone, just a wild guess!?! Well if you want to sit infront of the tube with a gallon of rocky road, a bottle of cheap wine, and a box of tissue try something like "The Notebook" but i suggest just watching something funny, then you won't be so down!
Try "From Justin to Kelly" LOL ;)

Movies with numbers in them are always good: "How to lose a guy in 10 days" or "10 Things I hate about you"

I know this is a cheap answer because it's a TV show and not a movie, but...Sex in the City.
