People who are cool are confident and satisfied with who they are. They are the one's that can make their own decisions and not the people that are just trying to satisfy the opinions of others. Develop your own interests and skills and you will find that others will respect you for your interests and skills. Cool people are good friends, they are good listeners, they are honest, they have a sense of humor and they are not too critical of others. Cool people are at peace with themselves and with the world.

"Cool" as in temperature? Turn on the air conditioner. If you don't have one, use a fan.
"Cool" as in image? Don't take life too seriously. The best way to be cool is to not try so hard to be cool in the first place. If you're above trying to be cool, people will like that better.

How to BE cool or how to LOOK cook, because those are two different things.
LOOKING cool would involve studying the Gap (or Abercrombie or American Eagle or whatever is "in" near you) ads and emulating those models. Or go for another alternate look.
BEING cool would involve being kind and friendly to others (but not weird-friendly), avoiding things like picking your nose in public, reading a variety of books, keeping current on world events.....I could go on and on. Just depends on what you are trying to "be" I guess.

If you wear your hat backwards, pop your collar, say catchy phrases like "what up pimp", drive your car with all the windows down goin slow through the Wal-Mart parking lot, join myspace, or constantly hang out with the exact same people every day....its sure fire....You arent cool.
