Overall, I'd have to say the '80s, although I was born in the late '80s so I don't actually remember any of the music when it first came out.

And I do like mid-to-late '90s alternative because I grew up with the stuff.

i love 70s & 80s music. I also love the very very early 90s. I think the 70s and 80s produced so many one-hit wonders coz in those days, you had to prove yourself with your 2nd song. From early 90s to today, if u have a number 1 hit, u are guaranteed to at least reach the top 10 with your next couple of singles! that's so crap lends itself to really bad quality chart music!

What, no 70's? C'mon, that was the best! The music of the 80's was pretty good to.

The 1990's, baby.

I hate the 80's, with a passion- the music, the hair, the clothing, the movies.

I'm really happy to see that most of you answered the 80's as a great decade for music lovers. Of course, there was plenty of great music before that. I was a teenager in the 80's. At that time of your life, you get more in touch with your likes and dislikes, and for me that decade was perfect in the sense that it offered a huge variety of music to choose from, i.e pop, dance, rock, new wave, etc. Awesome! So there you go :-)
