I've had my 2003 zuma for 2 years and it's never had a problem starting. When I tried to this evening it won't start, didn't even make a sound! I was soooooo surprised. I tried the kick start and it works just fine, but the push starter wouldn't work. What could have gone wrong? I've had to push the scooter over a high curb a few times was was wondering if I had accidently detached something underneath the scooter? I poked my head under and didn't see anything unusual. What about the line that goes from the push starter to wherever it needs to go? Is it possible that somehow it became detached? Any suggestions would be apprecaited! Thank you!!

Does the horn, tail and brake lights work when you turn on the key? If no - battery needs to be charged/replaced or the connections are loose
The plug might be disconnected for the starter motor. If you didn't even hear the solenoid clicking, the starter and connections are probably ok.
The plug for the starter solenoid might be disconnected.
They're both behind the L panel.
The handlebar switch might not be plugged in, or it's bad and needs replacing.
I forget if you have to pull in a brake lever or not.

like he said check the battery but the brushes in the starter could be going what you do is follow the battery lead to the starter motor it should be eather 2. 10mm or 8mm screws take off the battery then take off the starter motor where the positve wire goes put the battery charger on then the negitive on the starter to ground it if it turns nicely its not your problem but you hear noise you got it.then you can eather try to change the brushes or replace the motor. good luck
