I have never watched Grey's Anatomy but all my friends go on and on about it. What is it about? Where is the story line now? Any good? I like Nip/Tuck, The OC, and other various dramas, would I like this one?

Meredith is an intern at Seattle Grace who was sleeping with her attending Derek until she found out he was married, but estranged, from his wife who cheated on him. She moved on to dating another man, but then cheated on him with Derek who had gotten back together with his wife.
Cristina is an intern also sleeping with an attending (Burke). She got pregnant but had a miscarriage. She's my favourite character because she's so honest and hilarious!
Izzy is an intern who briefly dated Alex, another intern, until he cheated on her. She then fell in love with one of her patients who needed a heart transplant. She went against a bunch of rules and got him a donor heart but he didnt survive after the surgery. She is a mess now and quit the program.
Alex is basically an *** but gorgeous so I forgive him. He's in love with Izzy (i think so at least) but sleeps around.
Dr Bailey is a surgeon who takes absolutely no crap from anyone. I love her. She just had a baby.
The season finale last year ended with Izzy walking out of the hospital after finding out the heart patient died, and Meredith about to choose between Derek and her boyfriend.
I think you'd like this show, because I'm also a huge fan of Nip/Tuck. But you have a lot to catch up on, so buy the DVDs or start downloading :D

Its like ER but more in detail about the people the doctors and not so much dramtic some is and some isnt it soooo good you just have to watch it i like nip tuck too so i think you might like greys anatomy. ITS just good GO check it out on week when it is on.

maximum of season 5 has been concentrated around izzie, i do no longer think of that she would be leaving the coach. there have been rumors that katherine heigl would leave the coach to take a destroy and perchance initiate a relatives, and that TR Knight had had adequate. before this twelve months writer shonda rhimes disregarded rumors that Heigl and Knight have been leaving the coach. so a techniques as i be responsive to, she had till June 30 to compliment the way forward for T.R Knight, who has reportedly had adequate, and desperate to permit him pass, yet so a techniques as i be responsive to there are not any concerns related to Heigl. shop staring at gray's Anatomy Thursdays at 8:30pm on Channel Seven!

Grey's Anatomy is just a good show, with fast paced drama, interesting storylines and stellar dialogue. Just watch it and decide for yourself.

ER is still on by the way . . .it's ER just with a younger fresher cast.
Don't get sucked into the "Dr. McDreamy" crap, they really should call him Dr. Mcfuckingugly . . .but if you can stomach the crappy dialogue then u should be fine to watch.
