If you go to a used books, bookstore, you can probably purchase an OLD typing book (before computers) they have exercises that teach you how to type without looking at the keyboard. It takes practice, but, you will get it. Or, you can take a typing class at your local community college.

The best way of course is free and I've always found going to my favorite forums and start typing. It always helps improve my own typing. Or if you want purchase the top rated typing software on the market 'Mavis Beacon' its what I used in school.

It really is just about practice. Try to get a piece of paper with writing on it and lay it next to the computer, then try to type it letter for letter without looking. it just takes time and effort.

Edubuntu is a version of linux that contains the best free keyboarding program available. At least in my opinion. :) And I've looked at many of them.
Go to http://www.edubuntu.org/
Download the CD Image and burn it as an "ISO CD Image". If you are not sure how to do this, you can also order the CD for free. Just click on the Shipit link. CDs are free and postage is free, you pay for nothing.
If you download it, get the "live cd version" as this allows you to run it straight from the CD rather than installing it on your computer. If you are unfamiliar with linux then I recommend not installing it on your computer.
Edubuntu is an educational version of Ubuntu. It contains one of the best free keyboarding programs available called KTouch. ( http://ktouch.sourceforge.net/ )

If you are not very good at typing or fast you can buy some software called talk-it type-it .just speak in two a headset and what you say it type it.The software cost between $35.00 and $45.00 .I know someone who has it

Mavis Beacon Learn to Type. You also must learn proper finger placement. Other than that practice practice practice....
