I have a check coming in from outside of the U.S. and was told it will cost money how much does it usaully cost?

It shouldn't. International post is usually under a dollar for a letter. If it doesn't have enough postage it will be postage due just like a domestic letter.

The postage to deliver the check to you should not cost you a thing. What 'may' cost you is cashing the check, depending on what country the check is from. You should take it to your bank and ask if they have any fees to change it to US currency. You realize if this check bounces, they will take the money back out of your account and you are liable for it?
