Nothing at all. If it were real, then there would be nothing entertaining about it.

Something that had become such a cliche-Andy Warhol's prognostication that "in the future everyone will be famous for 15 minutes"- has been largely borne out with reality TV. Your neighbors, your coworkers, family members, friends, and enemies can now be seen losing weight, being humiliated on deserted island 'studios', racing around the globe against other morons, suing or being sued in mock courtrooms, and airing their filthy laundry for a public eager to pick through for choice nuggets to chew over at the next day's water cooler confab. The voyeuristic nature of human beings leads to high ratings, but the truth is that without hidden cameras and microphones this is not 'reality tv'. People aware that they are being filmed will always attempt to put forth the self-image they most want the world to see. Fifty years ago Alan Funt's 'Candid Camera' was reality TV because real people were filmed in set-up situations of which they were not aware.

We need a reality show starring me. The cameras can follow me around to my two jobs and then film me coming home and sitting on the couch and smoking a blunt and watching tv until I fall asleep with my three cats laying on me. Thats my reality.
