i would recommend taking at least one week off. if you are starting a job in a new area of the country, even if it is a little unfamiliar, then i would suggest taking two just so you can have a chance to settle in a bit, find out about the area, what opportunities are around for stuff going on outside of work time etc. from past experience, i took a weeks leave between one job and another (in a different part of the country) and it wasnt enough atall.
all in all, you need head space before starting a new job and anything less than a week isnt going to be enough. you need to let youself go a bit, forget about hassles/negative aspects of your old job, and get to really like the idea of your new one first. you are going to make a much better first impression in your new post if you go in positive, relaxed, refreshed and happy within yourself.
good luck with the new job!

Take at least a week. Two weeks will give you a full recharge. That way you can forget about your old job and start feeling refreshed for a new start with your new job.
Before I started with my current job, I took a week and a half off, and that did me a lot of good. It will also give you time to do the things you can only do during working hours that you haven't been able to do for ages.

VERY important! I've switched jobs without taking a vacation and I wouldn't recommend it. Taking a break allows you to start your new job refreshed and ready. I would take at least a week, preferably 2 weeks.

It depends on what is your plan for taking vacation,is it in the city, domestic visiting other cities or abroad visiting welknown places that is important to be witnessed/seen.Your vacation is very important for having a fresh mind for starting a new job.If it is only domestic I think it is enough for one week, but if you want to go abroad you are better to take vacation for 14 days.

properly, it is your call. might your mothers and fathers even approve in case you supply up? situations are no longer trouble-free, and each severe college pupil interior the country is finding for artwork good now. if your mothers and fathers do no longer approve, it may placed a damper on the holiday. Run it with the aid of them. that must be your answer good there. perhaps your loved ones can plan yet another day trip this summer season, and then all of you are able to put in your requests off of artwork asap to get issues underway. No jobs lost, no neglected strategies. maximum jobs want 2-3 weeks be conscious for days off. My retail pastime want 4 weeks be conscious. maximum jobs like retail and meals want all palms on deck for busy weekends. that's in simple terms the foremost. study that now. to this point as your boss: he will have no determination yet to fireside you in case you do no longer seem. he will possibly no longer appreciate any recommendations you supply him. he would be mad, b/c he seems to be already doing lots to furnish you Saturdays off, enormously if that's the provision you gave him once you utilized, in spite of if that's what that's. in case you plan to circulate away, enable him understand now, so he can get the weekend coated.

If you are planning to stay in the new job for over a year, I would recommend a week, if only to give yourself some kind of break.
