I use variations of it all the time. These are a few favourites:
'Hasta la Visa, baby': 'There goes my credit card limit again'
'Altavista, baby': 'I'm bored of Google'
'Hasta la pasta, baby': 'I've just spilled my lasagne'
'Hasta la vista, baby': Terminator nostalgia.

It's actually "Hasta la vista, baby". And generally, not at all. I think if you say it more than once in ten years, you may be afflicted with a common social disease, "Terminator Psychosis". Don't they have a support group in your area for that?

Hasta la vista--Spanish for "so long" or "later." actually translated, it potential "till we see one yet another lower back," even though it is used very informally whilst asserting so long. style of like in English once you assert "later" or "laters" to a solid buddy.
