An IPOD should impress him. An X box 360, tickets to his favorite sporting event. The entire 1st, 2nd and 3rd season of south park. If he is a typical guy he will love these things. If you are short on cash, get him a gift certificate to Best Buy for a reasonable amount.

Throw him a surprise birthday party and invite his friends, guys like to party. Make it a theme party, what's his style? Rent a cabin at the lake and make the party out there, Make a bonfire and whoop it up. Have everyone bring some pot-luck, you bring the cake. He'd love it.

If you know youre guy then you might take extra notes on things that he says that he likes and find something, some item. Men seem to be difficult to please with little things....they like big expensive stuff. Get creative with a grab bag full of goodies to please him, like lotions for a nice massage. If he's romantic, do something romantic, candles, homecooked meal, dress purdy or sexy, mood music. If he's sporty, get tickets to a ballgame. Pay attention to what he likes and you'll figure something out.
