It is a sin, and so is working on a Sunday, but we judge differently than God. God sees it all as equal. We see it as-Working on Sunday isn't as bad as killing someone, having an abortion, stealing money, and etc.
Wrong, according to man it isn't murder to have an abortion, but its murder if you attack the woman and the fetus dies.
It isn't a sin to cut your hair. He told that one person in the bible not to for he could have strength, it was a test.

Homosexuality: God hates the sin not the sinner. He loved us so much that while we were yet sinners he sent his only Son to die for us, so that we could be free from Sin. Homosexuality is a sin, because God created Man to have sex with a Woman. I don't want to go into all the details of why homosexuality is so bad, but believe me it's destroying our society, and culture very slowly but surely.
Abortion: That's an easy one. Again, God loves the sinner, and if you have an Abortion and repent of your sins and follow Christ, you will not be condemned.
No matter how developed an embryo is, it's still a potential life, that God has created, and is not to be destroyed. There is no logic behind deciding that a baby should live, because it has taken it's first breath. There is no difference between a baby that breathed or a baby that didn't breathe. Nobody can define when it's ok to kill and unborn baby, so it's not right at any stage in the development of the baby. Where can you draw the line? You can't. This distorted view and lack of respect for life is killing millions, and probably billions, worse than the Holocaust in Nazi Germany. The lack of respect for live has moved on to make people think it's ok to kill babies that are born by thowing them in the trash cans, and it's ok to kill people that are not able to speak for themselves. This is probably the greatest sin that Americans share is not speaking out against Abortion. The issue is in the hearts of Americans. Politics is not the answer, we need to change our hearts and minds, or it will continue even after it has been made illegal. I wish that more Christians would see it this way.
Please see the link think about if it's ok to kill this baby.

When reading or studying Scripture, make sure you know if you are dealing with Old Testament ceremonial laws (such as not working on the 7th day, which is Saturday, not Sunday), or if you are dealing with moral laws such as not murdering (abortion, etc.)
The moral laws that apply to us today are repeated in the New Testament, "have no other gods before God", "honor father and mother," "do not murder," "do not steal", "do not commit adultery,"
"do not destroy a person's name,"
Christians are not the ones who "set the rules" for living.
The God of Scripture has done that.
It is possible that God cares less about Wal-Mart or even
Macys.
But he does care about you. That is why Christ came, kept all those laws perfectly for you and also paid the penalty for all the
laws you and I have broken. His death and resurrection are the good news to thrive on.

Try telling that to my bosses at Wal Mart! They fail to understand the concept of church and/or a liturgical life. Since I have worked there from January 05 to the present, I have missed several chances to cantor, Ash Wednesday, had to rush out of a Palm Sunday service that I was cantoring to go to that hell hole, missed Easter 05, had to work on Christmas Eve.
Christians pick on Homosexuals and abortion because they are insecure of their own sexuality and have no choice but to attack a lifestyle that these people have chosen for themselves. They see themselves as judge and jury and sometimes the executioner.
They don't picket Wal Mart because they see it as friendly to families and women (yeah, right!). Hope that answers your questions.

If spreading Gods word and revealing sin and redemption to the lost is evidence of hate and intimidation you'll want to take that up with God, the originator of the message. Don't shoot the messenger, if you know what I mean.
I am not worthy to defend God, He handles that quite well Himself. However never fear approaching Him with questions like this, He is not offended by honest inquiry. As any loving Father would He has answers for you in His Word and through Prayer.

Because they base everything by somthing that was written thousands of years ago and been changed so many times since so that it fits what they want to be right and wrong and hate. They believe everything is a choice and wont beleive that things are caused by a chemical imbalances or because this world doesnt run on religion.

Christians pick on homosexuals because the bible says don't sodomise lest your bowel loses control and you have to wear a nappy from age 35. It also says go get married and have lots of babies and make them part of our group so there are more of us, so obviously abortion is out there. Only Atheists should be employed on Sundays. And they don't like people hitting pregnant chicks - its just not nice.

we dont like murder. your killing a baby. its murder regardless of if the mother died. and we do not believe in homosexuality. thats why. i dont pick on homosexuals, because i believe in equality and forgiveness, but other people do for the above stated reason. and the bible changes with the times, technically. somewhat like the constitution.
good question

The bible doesn't say sunday it says the seventh day is for rest. and I have no idea where you got your mother killing idea from but God is against all killing even unborn infants they still have a soul and they are still one of his so its still a sin to kill them. Christians are against Homosexuals and Abortion b/c God is too and to be a Christian is to be Christ like!!!!!!!!!! The bible says thou shalt not kill and it also says God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve!!!!!

The bible itself is so full of discrepancies that many Christians I've come across have to come up with wild theories and intepretations to defend its believability.
