If you have had your phone and service w/ T-Mobile for 90 days and have been paying your bill regularly, just call T-Mobile and tell them you will be travelling overseas and want to use the phone with a SIM card in that county. They should put in a request to provide you with the unlock code.
Also, there are third parties (on the net) that will give you an unlock code, but at a cost (usually 20-30 USD).
And if you are really, really tech savvy, there is a way to unlock the v3 RAZRs (not v3i or v3x) on your own. Try reading at www.motomodders.net
