Unfortunately it is because in most cases, when someone wants homework help, they *do* just want someone to do the work for them. I am sorry that you and the few others who are genuinely asking for help are getting lumped in with the all of the lazy people! Don't let it put you off - Yahoo Answers is a great resource, and who cares what a bunch of strangers who don't know you think of you anyway?

I suppose there are other YA members who come on in the evening and do ask for help with their homework. Thus the reason the people you mention feel you are doing the same.
Don't be concerned with them. Just put it behind you and go on as normal. Best to ignore people who act that way.
Take care.

I know what you mean. I asked a biology question and got the same reaction, although there was one lady that really came up with a different way of explaining the answer to me and that helped a lot.

might want to add you did research online and did not find specific subject. Might want to ask for additional help for specific sites or if anyone is knowledgeable in the certain subject. Don't just ask for help or answer to a researchable question. Hope that helps. Btw there are also a**holes who just like to give crap.

Don't get yourself into a tiffy!
The most anyone should do here is point you in the right direction or at worst solve mabye no more than 15% of your problems just to show you how it is done.

maybe its because they did it when they was kids..as in wanted the answers..or maybe its because people on here seem sometimes to be to lazy to look up their own stuff..maybe its not about you but they are fed up with other people and you got the raw end of their feelings..i surely wouldn't let that stop me from asking stuff, and i surely wouldn't allow them to influence me i am wrong..to ask..

I don't really care if someone wants me to do their homework for them or not. If I'm bored, I'll answer any question.
