Darlin' it's "Gaydar" for both genders. Gay is a generic term used now for either gender of homosexuals. Some gay women prefer the word "lesbian" or even more specifically the "butch/femme" dynamic, but we're all gay at the end of the day.

It's like saying Policeman or Fireman.
Personally I can't stand overly Politically Correct terminology. It just makes our already difficult language all that more confusing.

1. Gaydar is gaydar for all homosexuals.

2. You don't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting with a lesbian.

3. Unless they're really butch, you aren't gonna know.

Gay is applied to both men and women.
But if you want a more accurate way to spot a lesbian girl, just ask her about motorcycles, Dykes know their bykes.

Just kidding, few are the gifted with an accurate gaydar.

why would you want to detect lesbians? you have no chance of ever getting with them, because they, as lesbians, do not go for men. you would be better off finding a hot bi chick, or two, so you can have a menage a trois.

No offense, but they probably won't want you to detect them.

I personally find it harder to tell for other women than for men. Lesbians, and women in general, are just so varied!

Usually, the only way to tell is when you see two girls holding hands. [My lesbian friends are not exactly hot.] Since lesbians are not usually overly masculine [as gay guys are often very feminine], it's hard to tell.

Well, if you're a stud, then you shouldn't have that much of a problem, since most people probably already assume that you're gay, so if a lady likes you, you will probably know when she shows it. Now me, I'm a fem and I like fems, and trying to decipher if a girl is gay, and if she likes me if she is gay is very hard. 9 times out of ten, my gayday has been incorrect.
