I think the "right time" depends on the age of the girl. I think the ideal age for a woman to get marry is 25 and above because by that age, most of them are emotionally, physically, and mentally mature. It means that they have got to know themselves better. With the guys, I prefer that the guy be 2 yrs. and above older than the woman so that he can be a good father, a mature and responsible one. By that age, he sticks to right decisions for the family in the future.

30! Most of my friends who got married in their 20's are in the most controlling marriages. Now that's not to say they won't stay married, or aren't happy to a degree. But the women seemed to pick men that expect them to stay the same person they were at 20. And by 30, you change so much. So wouldn't you rather know who you are, which you do at 30, then figure out who you are at 30 and then not be able to do that? Some marriages can withstand growing differently, but a lot don't.

most ppl think they are ready for marriage around 18 or 19 but i don't think so, they don't quite realize at that age the responsibilty that comes with it, i say when they have been on their own awhile and lived and loved some then they will be able to handle it,

the reason the divorce rate is so high is because ppl gets married before they are really ready, and then they realize its not as much fun as it should have been and they get a divorced, or they realize they just don't love that person as much as they thought,

so i would say when they have lived , learned and loved and lost and grew up then they might be ready, get all the partying and dating out of the way first

There is no 'right' age. It depends on the persons maturity and life experience. I know people who are 30 and aren't 'old enough' to get married.

How do you know?? When you know he / she is MR / MRS RIGHT
.. Not Mr / Mrs right NOW.. I know 40 year olds who were NEVER cut out for marrige.. Yet.. I know 16 Year olds who are ready for it..

I think when BOTH partners maturity reaches a high enough level.. And you BOTH are comforitable with it.. It is the best time..

Best advice is DONT MARRY FOR SOME ONE ELSE.. Do it for your partner AND you.. Not just them.. Or you will have problems down the road..

well, i think u should be at least 21. it depends on how much love u feel towards one and other, and if they're mr./miss right. u need to be perpared and kno it wont end up bein a dumb mistake. u should date a least a yr. b4 u come close to think of gettin married. I think its best in the mid 20s, but thats my opinion. listen to each others' hearts and make sure ur listenin to ur brain too.

I think females are ready for marriage before men, but as far as a right age, I don't think there is one. Everyone is different, has different values, social norms, psychosocial profiles, etc. My best advice is when you don't think you could ever live without this person, and when you know that you've sowed your wild oats, then then and only then should you contemplate marriage.

i don't think there's any specific age for people to get married. when you're in love you know it, and then get married if you want to. it's an individual thing.
