Derek Jeter is neither he is a class guy, you are obviously opionated against the Yankees because you are a Red Sox's fan, I am a neutral and can honestly say Jeter is a great player. I'd rather have 9 Derek Jeter type players on the field than 1 David Ortiz. Jeter comes to play everyday and he actually plays defense unlike Ortiz, who happens to be a defensive nightmare, hence the reason he is a DH.

Did you go to the Boston public schools? No wonder their fans are all nimrods. I can't believe you like or dislike a person because of a sport. As a person Jeter has never embarrassed himself, his family, or his team. He plays hard and has the rings to prove it. What else do you want? Just because he's made a living off of sending the Red Sox home in the post season is no reason to hate him. I suppose you hate Johnny Damon now too?

I dont like Jeter since i'm not a yankees fan. However I respect him as one of the great shortstops of our generation and maybe of all time (not the best). He is definatly a future hall of famer and a great defensive player (to much aspect is put on batting). Jeter should be an MVP maybe, and however much i may not like him he brings a lot to the table and has a love for the game.

Who in the right mind can hate Jeter ? Aside from his offensive and defensive skills , the man comes to play everyday and plays hard. He's a very wealthy man with a blue collar work ethic -Jordan was the same way. How can you dislike that?

Frankly, i do no longer see why any baseball fan might hate him. anybody talks approximately how scuzzy Bonds is and how Bradley has a nasty character and how Schilling talks to lots and on and on and on. There are all the PEDs customers and corked bat customers and on and on and on. Then baseball gets a very stable guy for a transformation. So what does anybody do? They placed him down. they think of they are cool, yet you notice the subject. there is not any alluring them. supply the guy his due. The play at homestead plate against Oakland, the sprint into the stands on the foul pop-up, the widely being a great guy fairly of a whiner or a cheater. . .suck it up and in simple terms the two like him or no longer say something. i like him advantageous. Baseball ought to apply greater like him.

I live on the West coast so I could care less about the Yankees, Red Sox, Orioles, Marlins, Braves,etc etc. I am perfectly happy with the Dodgers. Even if I got any of those teams out here on my TV I would not even bother to watch them. It sickens me, to see them get paid so much.
