It is Bachelor's Degree. Bachelor is short for Baccalaureate which is an undergraduate of a college....when they graduate they get the degree, hence Bachelor's Degree because it is their degree

The actual name is Bachelor of Arts degree (or science or whatever) but we say bachelor's degree for short

It is definitely bachelor's degree because it is possessive. The bachelor (yourself) owns the degree.

I have a bachelor's (bachelors or bachelor) degree and a Master's (masters or master) degree and have always wondered this myself. I think it's bachelor's degree, though and a master's degree for that matter.
