Role play could be effectively used in the foreplay.
Mine would be to role play, where I am in bed with a queen of an exotic country. So my partner and I would dress accordingly, and "invent" some fantasy ritual for undressing and fore play. Can't explain all details here, as it might be a violation of Yahoo Community rules.

I'm an explorer and I happen across this remote island in the S. Pacific, where I'm captured by an all female tribe of cannibals.
After hours of pleading for my life to the lady chieftain, I explain to her that I would be much better utilized by their tribe If they would keep me around for certain special rituals, rather than their initial supper plans.
Talk about turning lemons into Lemonade. :-)

My ex-boyfriend used to dress up in women's clothing when we would role-play. It was weird at first, but was pretty fun.
