we have netflix, turn around used to be the next day as we are just a few cities away. I returned a string of dvd's that I didn't have time to watch and then the started slowing down the mailing of my dvd's. It's okay with me, I still average about 9 dvd's every two weeks.

I've had both - I currently have Blockbuster online because it also lets you print out 1 extra free DVD rental each week. Both are great - I usually get the DVD's I select online the next day and when I received a scratched DVD that wouldn't play, they sent me a new one really quickly. I've never had DVD's delayed due to shipment, but sometimes there's a title in high demand, creating a wait for it...but I always just rent different movies until it's available. If you have time to watch 1-2 movies per week, they're both definitely worth the money.

Use Netflix, never had any problems with them. I read an article from an angry Netflix customer, basically it sounds like if you watch a crapload of movies, they do a slight delay, and don't immediately send out new releases to you. I guess it's because they're not making money on that particular case. I think the guy actually filed a lawsuit over it if I'm not mistaken. Any rate, I'm very happy with them.

Netflix throttles if you return movies to quickly. They will start sending them out slower or from a further state being that 1st class postage cost the same from anywhere in the U.S. The key is not to buy a gift certificate because then they know they have you, and to keep your movie queue below 10 movies so it seems like you could decide to cancel if you felt like it at anytime.
if they start throttling you then cancel that membership and use a fake name with a prepaid credit/gift card or use a family members name and debit/credit card. They won't throttle you the first month no matter what happens. I use gift/credit cards and close then reopen a new account every 3 months.

I have Netflix. I haven't had a problem as of yet, although some
times the dvd's arrive at netflix at different times even though
I sent them all back at the same time. Usually one will arrive on
one day and the rest the following day, but as soon as it arrives at netflix they send out the next one and you can always check
your account to see which ones have arrived and which ones
will be sent out next. Hope this helps.

I love our netflix. We did have some delays over the recent holiday but they showed up as did our next movies. We save a ton of money and always have the movies we want to see.

I use Netflix and I enjoy it. Their service is great and I have never had a problem with them. I am just glad I have gotten a chance to see some movies I might have never have seen without joining.

I have Netflix. Only one was delayed, but a lot of other ones arrived damaged and unplayable. They should really consider sending them in better packaging than those flimsy paper envelopes.

WE HAVE NETFLIX FOR A YEAR NOW AND THEYVE BEEN EXCELLENT, WEVE GOTTEN FAST SERVICE XTRA DVDS IF WE ASK FOR FREE, EXCELLENT AND NOW THEY HAVE THAT 5'99 DEAL WITH 2 WEEKS FREE I THINK, I DONT THINK MUCH OF THE BLOCKBUSTER. WE WOULD BE PUT ON A WAITING LIST FOR NEW RELEASED MOVIES ,SO WE WOULD GET THE DVD IN OUR MAIL THE SAME DAY IT WAS RELEASED ON DVD

Our experiences with Netflix were good. We had a couple of shipments that never came..but we notified them and they sent out another m ovie in an instant. They were always courteous and helpful and when we had to cancel due to finances..they were nice about that too. I think they are a good deal . There was a great selection of movies too.
