Since 1974. I lived in NY. Wrestling back then came on TV only once a week. Saturdays at midnight. Vince McMahon & only one announcer spoke in the ring. No wrestlers were ever at the mic. Back then it was all about the sport. There were no storylines just wrestling. There was no precise time frame for these wrestling shows. Even though the shows were taped they were always "time Approximate". Taped wrestling shows were not edited for television back then. The shows ran until their alotted time was up. If a match was still in progress by 1:00am, it didn't matter. WorChannel 9 would interupt the show and automatically put on the next scheduled program which was "Fright Night Theater". As you can see Pro Wrestling has come a long way since then.

I have been a wrestling fan sinse about 1996... It was a match between Perry Saturn and Haku (then known as Meng) in WCW. But since then, I have learned almost everything in the history of the WWE.

I think the same year! First match I saw, Rocky Johnson & Tony Atlas beat the Moondogs for the belts. I didn't have a VCR, so I used to hold a tape recorder against the tv to record Piper's Pit with Snuka, Andre, Captain Lou, etc.
