You don't need a comeback for an old person. Just listen to him. There's truth in the saying that "with age comes wisdom". Nobody ever got old by being a dumba$$. These young whippersnappers think they know it all, but they haven't even scratched the surface. Listen to what old people have to say. There are many things they know that they have gained through experience, some of which cannot be gained in any other way. Learn to love old people. Most of them are a wealth of wisdom!

Yes. Just talk to them. They would love to talk to you! In fact there's a lot you will gain by ralking and befriending old folks.
