First off, you don't decide if your homsexual, its actually has to do with your DNA. That's right, you're born homosexual, as strange as that may sound.
Now both men and women all have bisexually tendencies, and many times, when your youngr, you experiment, especially females. This does not count.
So what you should be asking "when should you take action on being gay?" and the answer to that is the same as "what age should you be before you start dating" which is personal preference. I think 13 or 14 is an average age to start dating (but not the sex yet) and therefore it can be the age you start to take action on your homosexuality.

Being gay is not a decision you will make or not make at any age. You will know, as you grow what gender gets you hot & bothered. If you force yourself to be someone you really aren't you will only lead a very sad life and you will bring others into the sadness. There have been so many broken homes where one marriage partner was trying to be straight and even produced children and then came to the truth about themselves. By that time they had a marriage partner, their family, and the lives of their children all involved.

If you're old enough to understand what that means you are old enough to decide, just leave room for the possibility that you will change your mind later and decide that you aren't gay. If you're young, your emotions are probably all over the place, and likely feelings for the same sex may just be temporary.

From what I've heard, a lot of women go through an experimental phase in college where they try out a little lesbian loving to see what it's like, but most of them figure out they're straight. On the other hand, if you're over 18 and you've never, ever been attracted to a man, never even fantasized about sex with a man, and you've always been attracted to women, there's a pretty good chance you're lesbian.

Some people know as young as 4, some take a while. If you think you're gay, you probably are.

I don't think it is something you decide or don't decide, it is something you are or you aren't. Why does everyone think it is so fashionable to be gay today? They should spend more time reading the bible, it is a sin.

Whatever age you think you are gay.
If you think you are gay and you believe it, then you are probably old enough to tell.
