Just wanted to add- I found out I was pregnant when I was 21- and unmarried. So I know how terrifying it is to be in that situation. But, I owned up to my actions. Just because I made a mistake, I didn't make my child suffer for it. I have a beautiful 20 month old daughter now.

When I got there, I changed my mind.Something in me said to keep it. Now I have a beautiful 5 year old little boy. My husbands ex girlfriend had 2 abortions and it really really messed with her mentally. She cries a lot and thinks of what could have been. Sad really.
Luckily in this country, our bodies are still our bodies. We do ultimately have the choice. That is how it is.

I think that if a mother chose to get an abortion no matter what size of the fetus is, it is still a human

Not that I know anything, but...it may depend on the age of the fetus. As in the Lacy Peterson case, Connor was a viable human at the time he died, so he was a human. Abortions are done only up to a certain term because it's still a fetus and then after that date/time it's not done legally any more because the child can live (viable) outside the womb.

I completely see your point and I think it is a double standard. I get that it would be someone else choosing to end the baby's life but if the mother makes the decision its ok?
Also, Abortion is mostly legal BUT if a moms takes a gun and shoots herself in the stomach killing the baby its murder? I dont get it, either way the mother is killing a child but she can be charged for shooting herself but not for an abortion.

Pro-choice, it is not for you to decide what a female does with her body and reason. Murder of a mother and her unborn increases this persons chances of never getting release from prison.

Abortion isnt done just because people wont take responsibility for their actions. I had an abortion for medical reasons 5 years ago. It still tears me up today so why dont you people PLEASE stop all this anti-abortion crap coz you dont realise how upsetting it is for someone in my situation or any other situation I would imagine!
