I have a 2 1/2 month old and I'm currently a stay home Mom..My fiancee works and he feels as if he shouldn't have to get up in the middle of the night to feed, change etc. because he works. How do I make him realize it's his resposibilty too? Or am I wrong for feeling like that?

Maybe not every night but at least once or twice a week. As for every one saying that your wrong for wanting him to help out a little bit, don't listen to them. I have two children and I have done the ,"I get up every night thing" he never wanted to help until he came home the last week of it and I didn't have supper cooked because me and the baby were in the bed already because I was so tired after not getting any rest all those nights before. He should help out and now he agrees. We take turns. Unless it was a long work day. Then I do it for him those nights.

Because he has to get up to go to work in the mornings to bring home the bacon, won't you want him to have enough rest and sleep?
You could arrange to rest and sleep when the baby is sleeping, which is quite often for a 2 1/2 month old. Your fiancee can help when he gets back from work.
For a couple to have a long term relationship to last, there must be understanding and care for each other. This can only be achieved through constant sincere and honest communication with each other.
Discuss your concern with him! Don't forget to show care and concern for him and his needs as well. A give and take attitude must prevail.

You may feel that way, but seriously, you stay home and can take a nap while he's at work. He doesn't have that luxury! I think during the week you should get up and on Fri. and Sat. he could do it. That's what my x and I did. Seemed to work for us. Our daughter is 12 now!

you get to stay at home full time... sleep when your baby sleeps. if my daughters father went to work and i go to stay home i would not be complaining and i have a 6 week old. its his responsibility to help take care of the baby and hes fulfilling that by taking his butt to work so do ur part and wake up and take care of the kid
