Don't you think that paying those guys millions of our dollars is outrageous. They play 12-13-14 games a season! Shouldn't we get more outta them. Baseball players play 5-6 times a week!

Baseball players don't get hit on every play of a game either. That would be too much physical stress on a football player's body. Common sense tells you why there aren't 2 football games a week!

No way...Notta...Bad Idea...HELLLLLLSSSSS NO

Having played in college (Division 2) I know the stresses on your body there...step it up 3 or 4 notches to get to D 1 ball and then step it up 3 or 4 more notches and you have the NFL...Not only would people end up gettting seriously injured, but then ticket prices would skyrocket becuase the salaries the players demand would become even larger for the bigger risk...

As a manager scouting a baseball team you have 182 games a year to decipher what a team is doing...NFL has 17 weeks...there is no way they could do the scouting if the season was 8 weeks...Not to mention that I am not gonna pay the ticket price to see a game on a Tuesday night...leave me my Sunday afternoons (the reason there is 7 days a week and not 6)

No way, I think if they played more games it would take away how important the games are. I also think that Sunday is football day. A day of rest and drinking beer while watching your favorite team lose to the Pittsburgh Steelers (since they are going all the way again this year). If they played 2 games a week not as many people could watch them. It would turn into baseball or hockey where if a team loses its no biggie.

No i dont think so, football is a dangerous game and it takes a week to train and prepare for how to play against another team. It is a war game and as such needs to have strategy. Baseball players do not get hurt as much as a professional football player because baseball is not a dangerous game.

Football's brutality doesn't allow multiple games a week to happen. Then again, the anitcipation for the next game on the following Sunday or Monday would be taken away, which is the best thing about one game a week.

You've never played football have you? Physically 2 games a week would be a killer. Players careers would be drastically shortened. Baseball by far is not as physically demanding...

That would be great to se however that would shorte the season big-time. But again 2 games a week would be sweet.

NBA And MLB play in specific situations 5-6 situations a week. NFL could desire to in no way play that lots in a week. perhaps touch soccer. NFL is purely too stressful on the physique, and it extremely is thru far the toughest/brutal game performed (in considerable activities).

No, mainly because of the soreness of the players. Its hard to understand if you don't play football, but you get beat up ALOT in a regular game (especially NFL).

absolutely not it takes a week to get over injury and soreness from one game and if you think pros dont get sore after a game just because they are used to it think again you get hit differently and use different muscles every time you match up against someone else
