Last night my husband said to me that if I don't get over my insecurities he is leaving me. I don't think that I am that bad but I guess I need to work on things. He only thinks that I am the one at fault and will not go to counselling. I don't want to lose him. can anyone help?

We have twins that are just over a year old and he wants to go on a course (not manditory) for three days and leave me home..i guess this is an insecurity.
Also when he gets off work first thing in the morning he wants to stay and have beers and then expect to come home and sleep an extra 2 hours.

Sweetie, that guy is a big freakin jerk and you deserve better! No man should leave their wife just because of their faults, insecurities, weakness or whatever! It is in you guys' vows to be by your side in SICKNESS and in health! Hmm either he's black mailing you or emotionally abusing you. Ask him if he'd consider marriage counseling to bring back a stronger confidence in you and strenghen your relationship with him.

I'm so sorry you married a donkey(sorry I can't cuss on here).

First, have a talk with your husband about what "insecurities" you might have (in other words, define "insecurity").

If he won't go to counseling, then go on your own to get help. That way you can deal with someone who is probably insecure himself.
