I am in love with someone who is very special to me.....he claims he loves me but is going out with someone else...when i talk to him, he says he loves me,wants to marry me,and have children with me....in a way i do believe he does...what should i do? give him up or hang on to him?

Are you that gullible or just blind? First off he is taken or perhaps you two girls are being taken! The guy obviously is trying to seduce as many women as he can.
If he claims to love you, then WHY doesn't he get rid of the other girl? Do you like to be second best? Is your self-esteem so low that you figure he's the only guy available and you just got to hang on to him even if it means to share him with this other girl, cause obviously he does not plan to give this other girl up any too soon?
How can you call him " special " if he can't or won't commit to you alone?
Girl " LOSE HIM ", he is not going to commit to you in the way that you want him too, just by the fact that he is still going out with this other girl. Why give yourself heartache over a guy who obviously doesn't care how you feel, if he did care for you as you say, then he would totally give up this other girl and be with you alone.
They say " love is blind ", and girl you sure take the prize on that one! Get real, wake up and small the coffee!
Sincerely honey, he isn't the one for you and I'm sure you know that yourself deep down.
If you don't believe me, then find out for yourself, look up this other chick and find out what she knows about her boyfriend seeing you on the side? Also ask her if its ok for himto do this or better still see if she wants to share him, he must be a hell of a prize!

Give it up. I have a friend like this....he was in a relationship that he desperately wanted out of. He said he loved me, wanted to be with me, that we would be great together, and honestly we probably could have been, but you know what he stayed in that relationship and marryed the girl last year. You know what else? He still says he loves me. Get over him and move on hun....he probably does like you, and will probably stay right where he is.

I don't understand. If he is with someone else, why is there a question of weather or not to be with him. Its one thing if he leaves her ASAP to be with you...but if he is not leaving her you should have enough self respect to walk away. If he sees you won't put up with his crap, then he might be more likely to leave his current g/f and come to you. If he does not, he did not like you enough to begin with. Its a hard truth to face but better you know now that go down a treacherous path of he loves me he loves me not. Love yourself enough to do the right thing no matter how scary it is. Some man, they want to have as many women around them as possible, even he don't love them. Sadly, we all know the reason is sex. He is probably one of them. But, if he is not one of them, love you yet hurt you by going out with someone else....that will be worse. So, not matter what, this man don't worth your tear or even time.

OK, here is your first clue, he's with someone else..If he hasn't left this person yet, my bet is that he isn't going to leave that person. He wants to be with you so bad he can't take it but yet he can't live without this other person. It sounds like he wants his cake and he wants to eat it to. He can't have both, let yourself be that last peice of cake that he is yearning for so bad. I know it's hard to leave someone you love and care for so much, but life does go on. It'll be hard but once he knows you're done with his second life he is living he'll be regreting that he ever hurt you in the first place.

I agree ..... if he really does love you then he would be with you and ONLY you. Right now it sounds like he's playing both sides and I would definitely question his motives considering he's still with the other woman. Personally, I've been in the same situation and I was actually lied to about him STILL being with the other woman. And in the end he never did leave her but still went to bed with me so I now realize when he said he loved me it was just to get in my pants.
