If your period STARTED on Sept. 8 and you want to get pregnant -- you'll probably be ovulating roughly Sept. 22, so try having sex about every other day starting now for a week or so.

Best of luck!

First you should find out how many days are in your cycle? Then count 14 days from the first day of your menstrual period to determine your ovulation period. there is a site at babyzones.com where you can use an ovulation calculator and keep a calender of your monthly ovulation period. the calender is a big help. It tells you day by day what you should be doing. I hope you found this information helpful? Good luck:).

most women ovulate anywhere from 10-18 days from the first day of your period. the average is day 14. sperm can live for 5 days, but you can only get pregnant the day you ovulate. if you have sex everyday, sperm count goes down. so try to figure out the day give or take that you ovulate and have sex then.

sperm can live in a woman body for up to 5 days, so if you have unprotected sex at least every 3 days, it will happen very soon. Just don't stress over it, that could slow the process.
