missing unknown DLL files.?

I am helping a friend that is trying to get back on yahoo messanger but, yet, the app won't open and only gives him an error. He is not getting the typical error explaining what DLL files are missing though. What can he do to find out which files needs?

I would have just suggested getting a new computer.

Basically your screwed so you have to reload messenger.
