Sims 2 NightLife Help?

Okay , I'v had sims 2 nightlife since it came out and it's worked fine. I installed it on my new computer and it still worked just fine until I installed some custom content. Now everytime I go into create a sim the "application crashes." what should I do and I dont know how to uninstall the crud.

Oh, hate this when it happens.

What you need to do is disable custom content. You can do that from the neighborhood view. The control dial with the three dots. Choose the gears icon (I don't have the game running at the moment but it's around there). Turn off custom content Nightlife has this ability.

Then shut down and restart the game. Go into CAS and see if it is stable again. If it is stable, then you just need to shut down your game and go to your downloads folders and delete everything with that date from the time you downloaded the guilty custom content. This happened to me a couple times when I got houses from the Official site. Even tho I was careful to only download for the EPs that i had, I ended up with a crasher object. Just removing the guilty party from downloads made it stable again.

The 'bad' houses usually cause crashes in the neighborhood view when trying to use the newly downloaded house. So I suspect that something in your Sim downloads is in conflict with the game. You may have downloaded something that replaces a normal CAS object, and that object would probably be in your downloads folder.

Another thing you can also do, is log in as Guest when your computer boots up, if the game runs fine, -- you know that the Guest doesn't have downloads, so the game installation is FINE. You do not have to reinstall.

you are going to have to unistall the whole game and reinstall it dont ever put custom content in your games without backing up the game first this happens all the time and you lose everything you have accomplished in the game
