Too early to know how worthy they are.
Last season Roma had a wrong start, 9 points out of 9 match, then, hiring Spalletti as coach, they had a great 2nd stage championship (serie A all time record with 12 won on a row), with an impressive and unpredictable play. Spalletti starts with all forwards being injured, developing an unique tactic without strikers, with Totti, Perrotta, De Rossi continuously moving on the field and the GREAT Brazilian Mancini ready to run, catch the pass and score. Entertaining, original and clever.
This season Spalletti is dealing with WC tired and out of fitness champions, but I'm sure Roma will do better.
Inter is unpredictable since many years ago. When starting, they seem the best team ... and everytime they fail.
This season they have:
1. The same coach since last 2 years (studdenly, knowing President Moratti behavior - the coach is the first to be fired when the Club didn't reach their goals)
2. The GREATEST line-up in Serie A - and their best one since Mattheus times.
3. Juventus relegated in Serie B, Milan sanctioned starting at 8- points.
It's true, they failed their first Champions League match and last week they had an unimpressive draw against Sampdoria (it needs to say Samp tied Udinese in the last match, when the opponents were winning 0-3...), but this is their best chance to win the ship since SO MANY YEARS... if this shouldn't happen, I'm pretty sure Moratti will leave his role and sell the team. In those days the best financial and managing Moratti's partner, Tronchetti Provera, is involved in troubles while selling the greatest Italian phone company, Telecom... Situation which don't damage the team, but have consequences on management...
If I must to wisely place my bets, my fav is Inter.
As Juve' supporter, what I hope is to have a winning underdog (i.e. Palermo - congrats btw! great start!) -- Milan had a fair judgement after football scandal, Inter isn't a maiden team... The phone wiring tapes were conduct by Telecom (see above) and since March Inter managers said they have a CD-ROM to witness referee bribery... This item was never shown, please remember the worst accusation against Lazio's President and owner, Lotito, is Fiorentina' owner Della Valle asked him to set up the match between their teams, Lotito refused but didn't notice this call to Football Federation ... STRANGE ... now Inter is playing with 'scudetto' on their jerseys, Juve had it stripped besides no one accusation was involving 2005-2006 events ...
I can't wish Inter to win ...
Roma is better to me, but ...

FORZA PALERMO
FACCI SOGNARE

Inter somehow always contrive to pluck defeat from the jaws of victory whereas Roma are forever fighting amng themselves.

If anything has been seen or proven after 3 games, AC Milan's 3rd straight victory, should serve notice that they and not Inter, are the team to beat.

Both are overrated, benefitting from Juventus demotion and AC Milan's point reduction. Serie A was handed to Internazionale and they still can't handle it.
