No, although have heard it before but only the untrue myths of menstruation sort of way. Actually I've heard people say that menstrual blood makes a good fertilizer, so really a woman's period would have the opposite effect on a plant.

No, it is not possible.
Women who have their periods are not "cursed" as the expression goes.
Also, bears will not attack a woman if she has her period and goes camping.
There are other myths surrounding women's' menstruation. If it sounds weird--it is!
