Please answer these ten survey questions I'm doing for my Advanced Chorus class:

2) Freshman in college
3) I like to sing because I am truly happy when I sing. I don't have to force a smile when I am singing, I am just happy. When I sing, I become the person I wish I was all the time.
4) I would rate it around a 5, still thinking it was too high... but I know most people will disagree with me because I am too hard on myself. In all reality, I am probably near an 8.
5) "You are so good!" "I love your voice!" "Why don't you try out for more solos?" "You look so happy when you sing!" "You don't have to sing quieter... I like listening to you!"

7) When I left for college, I had a D below middle C, and a D three above middle C
8) I sing at my church, and I joined a non-audition choir here at college. In High School, I was in the Concert Choir, and the Women's Choir, which was a select group.
9) I am trying to teach myself the piano.
10) It means expressing yourself and being exactly who you want to be.

6) (If you know) What vocal part do you sing? (soprano, mezzo-soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, bass) i'm not really sure. i did alto and soprano in choir.

8) Do you attend music classes, organizations, clubs, etc.? i took choir for a year in high school.

10) What does music/singing mean to you? music is life.

Wow. You have asked a lot of questions for the price of one here!
1. 61 (sorry if I throw off your age curve here)
2. I am a college graduate.
3 I like to sing when I am happy. So I guess I should say I like to sing to express happiness and in praise.
4 Sadly, I am about down to a five. I used to be an eight or nine, but can't seem to get out the volume anymore.
5. I always sing on key and carry a tune quite well for an old lady.
6. Soprano. My voice teacher used to call us "J" for jackass because she thought we were the stupidest because all we do is carry the tune. Also, I am a minister's wife and we are traditionally soprano! Cracking glass windows and all that!
7. Sorry, I don't know my range anymore. My piano is sadly out of key, so I can't go check it out quick!
8. No, I am not a joiner.
9. No, the gene pool skipped me. My father was a concert pianist.
10. I believe I answered that in one of my earlier responses.

I am 47, been out of school 30 yrs come 6/07. I love to sing because it makes me feel good inside!! Though i do not sound as good as i feel when i am singing. I'm maybe a 7. My best friend likes it when i sing. She said it makes her feel good too. I am an alto, but thats all i know from Jr.High choir class. I don't attend any music things now, but a concert now and then. I had learned Piano as a child, but don't remember. I can play one song on the guitar. Music is a great way to express yourself. It makes or breaks my mood!!!! Good luck in class, and with a carreer if thats what you decide to do. It is a wonderful thing, uplifting.

I am 40. I am out of school. I like to sing because it is an outward expression of my worship of God. I am not the best there is but I am okay. I would give myself a 7. People complement me on my range ( 2 notes above and 2 notes below scale). I sing high soprano. I attend choir practices weekly. Being able to sing is a gift that the Lord has given me and a way that I can serve him. It is a very important gift to me.

Sing of sturdy issues no longer undesirable, sing of satisfied no longer unhappy. Sing, Sing a music, sing it ordinary to final the entire night long. do no longer hassle if its no longer sturdy adequate for all people else to hearken to, purely sing, sing a music.
