Your really not suppose to give a 3 month old anything but breastmilk or formula. I would wait it out 2 more months, but you can call the Ped. and ask this question also.

My baby is 3 months old and I give her juices. Some people would jump at me for it, but this is my 3rd baby and I think I know what I am doing LOL. I prefer the Gerber Pear Juice and I water it down...I usually go half and half. A lot of people say no no no, but sometimes, when she has finished drinking 8-12oz of formula and pukes that up, I just CANNOT keep pumping milk into her. Babies get thirsty too and, I personally think water or juice kills the thirst. She usually only has about 1-2 oz and is content. It is up to you. But I say it is perfectly fine

My son was 3 months when i gave him regular apple juice, diluted of course. The Gerber juices are not as strong as the apple juice we drink and are safe for you baby. I wouldn't recommend giving too much at first, so they can get used to it. It is a perfect natural remedy if your baby is constipated. I try to give my son (who is now 7 mths) juice at least a few times a week to keep his little system going.

yes it is OK but doctors say not to cause they think they know all i am sure your mom gave you juice when you were that small! i have gave all three of mine juice around that age you might want to start with something other than Apple juice try grape or a fruit punch nothing with Apple yet it tends to give them diarrhea. but go for it i am sure your child would like a new taste besides the same old thing!

I have always heard not to give your baby juice or anything until at least 6 months - but its not necessary. There is no nutritional value in juice for children under 2 years!! My son was 18 months before he tried his first juice!! Water is best before then!!

thats a good question, all babies are different tho. It depends on your babies weight. If your three month old weighs alot her tummy can probably handle the sugar in the juice. Most doctors will tell you to wait it out until they are five or more months because babies just dont need apple juice. You want to make sure they stick to milk so it does not confuse them and babies get all their nutrients they need from milk. hope that helps

I am a mom of two and I know lots of moms that started their kids on Juice at a young age. Personally if you are going to give it to her water it down LOTS. She doesn't need it. My children were on strictly water and Breastmilk or regular milk for the first 3 years of their lives and they are thin, athletic, energetic, healthy, smart and have great teeth. Talk to your doc, but according to my past research it is not necessary and my children choose water over juice 9 times out of 10 now and that is healthy and real fruit is better then the drink. (my kids are 4 and 6). Hope it helps.

You're "supposed" to wait longer but some Drs will recommend juice to help babies with bowl movements but even then its very watered down. If the baby isnt having any problems then I would wait a while longer.

My doctor told me to wait until 6 months, but my son was a preemie so I had to go by his adjusted age. She had parents start full-term babies at 4 months, and I always watered his juice down because it has so much sugar in it.
