Moles are ugly and beauty marks are pretty. A beauty mark is usually just a dark round freckle. It does not stick out and is small and flat. The location is important. Most beauty marks are right below your nose near your mouth. Dolly Pardon has a great one and I think Marilyn Monroe actually drew hers on. I tried it once and loved having one! It makes you feel pretty. Try it!

If its on the face call it a beauty mark - if it is some place else on the body call it a mole - or if you don't want people to know you have moles just say they are beauty marks

A mole digs underground and a beauty mark pops up on your face (and other places a mole wouldn't go).

You look at the person its attached to. If they're beautiful, it's a beauty mark, if its the rest of us, its a mole

They are the exact same thing, but their definitions depend on how they look. If such "mark" looks bad, it's called a mole, but if it doesn't or if it looks good, it's called a beauty mark. I would say that it depends on who is making the call...

a beauty spot is a flat brown/black dot, but a mole is like a small sphere attached to the skin. get it checked it if you're not sure, as moles can be cancerous.
