There is this one guy, and I think he likes me. So do a few of my friends. He is whoa flirtatious, and he always stands really really really close to me when we are standing with one another. We occassionally hold hands and whatnot. but, he hasn't asked me out yet, and my friend asked him if he liked me, and he said no. Most of the time he acts like he does, but, sometimes, he acts like he doesn't like me at all.
i dont know what to do! haha.

Something like that happened to me before. I have to admit, I enjoyed it! It's fun to have that attention, isn't it? It's kind of impossible to answer this question for sure since I don't know the guy you're talking about, but I'll tell you what happened with me and that guy. It turned out that he wasn't looking for anything serious or even any relationship at all! I think he just kind of wanted to hang out with a girl without having any commitment. If you like this guy, I hope that's not what he's thinking! If I were you, I'd just let it all play out. See what happens...

Have an eye contact, and continue to look at his eyes,(of course from a polite distance). Observe his eyes to find out the hidden emotions. For instance, you must be cute enough to understand and distinguish love from desire. If you do this (when you both are alone) even for 30 to 40 seconds, that guy whom you think likes you, and loves you (not likes you for other reasons) returns the gaze with equal depth. It is not the words that come out of his mouth but the language that his eyes convey matters most.

What you didn't make clear was do YOU like him?
He may be crushing on you, but is scared of how you will react if you don't return his feelings.
Then again, he might be flirt, but thats only if he does it with other girls, with only you. Thats a sure sign he likes you. You should try flirting back, and see how he reacts. If you like him back, a little flirting back and forth can help grease the wheels for a relationship.
If your not interested in him, don't encourage his flirts, as it will only confuse him. But be careful not reject him harshly, as he might start to act very different around you.

If you really want to know, your just going to have to go up and ask him and tell him that you appreciate the attention that he gives you and that you think it would be cool if we could go out sometime.
It's really hard to say wether he does like you or not being your freind asked him if he liked you, and he said no.

he is waiting for YOU to do something...he's not going to make the first move or admit it because he's shy.
Best move for you to do...at the next party you're at, get really close to him as if you're about to kiss him, and wait for him to kiss you. If he does, nice one. If he doesn't or backs off, then he doesn't want you
