sad but true

If you want an answer from someone with REAL authority, read St. Matthew, chapter 25, verses 31 through 46. I realize many people mock the Bible and Christians (the Bible tells about them) and have for hundreds of years. However, it's truths have survived unchanged for approximately 2000 years. That's a pretty good track record. Many GREAT men have used it's wisdom as their guide, our nation was founded on it as was many of our valued freedoms. History tells us that many important rulers believed the Bible, to mention just one..King James. I know you may just be asking a question without any real interest, but read the verses anyway, if for no other reason than to know what the disputed Book says. By the way, that is only one of several verses with the same message.

It's true, as critics say, the Bible, existence of God, heaven, hell, angels, and Jesus (although there is documentation of Him by several eye witness accounts and dependable historians) can not be proved. Neither can the critics prove they do not exist. AND consider this : if the Christian is wrong, what was lost--nothing. IF the critics are wrong, they're in for a VERY Hot (not the enjoyable hot) time. Which way you planning on going??

The concept of there being a heaven and a hell are man-made lies to create some control over a chaotic population some thousands of years ago and to try and get them to BEHAVE THEMSELVES in a civilised manner. Seeing the Muslims' actions now, in the name of another false religion invented by a child-molester and sex-offender, one begins to wonder whether that ploy is effective in any way shape or form. just seems to breed hatred and violence and murder. Then again, the Catholic Church was a bit of a nasty item some hundreds of years ago and the Crusades didn't exactly set a good example.
Thus it follows that there are no such places.
Never mind. Just be good to everyone and enjoy your heaven on earth.
Get real. This is it. There is no more. Be good - and wake up to reality?

First off, the term "Christian" was first used at Antioch in Paul's time and was a secular term use for those who followed "The Way" (The Way, being Jesus as Jesus is the Truth, the Way and the Light).

As such, we can call ourselves Jesus believers or followers of Jesus or whatever.

Mankind was born into sin. Its kind of like a genetic disease passed on to children and their children's children. As such all will go to hell because no sin can enter heaven. Jesus was sent as a Sacrifice to redeem us from the death that Sin brings.., a Get out of Hell free card so to speak. Sin is the disease, Jesus is the cure for this sin disease.

This cure is FREE without regard to race or age or gender. If a man rejects a cure for a lethal disease, thinking he can kick it himself and dies, its not the doctor's fault he rejected the cure and died. So it is when people reject Jesus plan of Salvation (Read Acts 2:38) its not God's fault people rejected His cure (Jesus) and go to hell as a result.

I really do not know how to make it plainer than that. Hope this benefits you in some way.

Only non-animistic believes in existence of heaven and hell where heaven is a place where all goodness flow and hell where its all fire and thats what one will get - burn out. Well c'mon, who actually went down there and confirmed there's actually fire in hell? or did God of any religion gave warning he/she will burn sinners in fire?

My heaven is right here where i stand and if i dont keep it that way, then it will change to hell in a blink and make my life a living hell. Thats my belief.

End of the day, its up to you which will you choose.

Be well..

Personally, I don't think so.

God didn't create all of these religions simply to condem all other religions to hell....I believe that if you're on the right track and you follow the basic teachings that lay with many of the major world religions, then you're not going to "burn in hell" for all eternity.

Whatever the "truth" is out there...I honestly believe it will come to you when the time is right. The problem is...we all keep fighting over what the truth really is.

Give me a break. I'm getting tired of all these stupid religeous questions. There are Buddists, Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Jews, Taoists, etc. Then there are the off- shoots, from each religion. Zens, Mormons, Jehovahs, etc. Let each live by their own MORALS and BELIEFS. All in all, we all go to the same place, just climbing different sides of THE mountain to get to the top. Anyone who says different, because they think their religion is better, is just a hippocrite. Stop worrying about others, get your own **** together.

Of course not.

It is all in your mind,
if you let them put it there.

Concentrate on getting
a good education, and
then get a good job in a
worthy occupation of
your own choosing.

In the process you will
run across many who
will try to impress you with
the necessity of making a
committment to this or that
philosophy right this minute.
Do not be sucked in by their
urgency. Any decision you
make is just that; your decision.

I have bad news for all of us. Everybody goes to Hell and it's really bad. And the longer you live the worse it gets.

Have a nice day.

Its not know what happens after you die, but John14:6 says,

"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me. "

It's pretty matter of fact and its very strong. It's a pretty compelling reason to be saved.
