I actually have a similar problem. However, only 2 of my ear holes (I have 5) get affected, and my eyebrow doesn't have a problem! If I were you, I would just tell the piercer about your problem and be pierced with a different kind of metal. You can always experiment with the kinds that give you reactions later; there is no point in having to take out your ring too early if it can be avoided.
I'm sure you already know this, but just in case: Make sure that you get pierced in a good piercing parlor. That will help stave off infection too. Also, be sure to wash it regularly with witch hazel. Try this site: www.bmezine.com to find good piercers in your area.

Yes, I have had the same problem. I am allergic to the silver even if it is plated. My ears and belly ring were infected real bad. After the piercing I changed the ring to solid gold and used sea salt to heal the infection. I have not had a problem since.
Hopefully you can do this or your nose will be very tender and hurt.
If you want to know more send me an im or email at my 360 page.

I had my ears pierced 3 times when I was younger and ended up having an allergic reaction every time. I have since then had my tongue pierced twice and nipples pierced with no problems. The only thing you can do is try.

I have 6 holes in one ear and 7 in the other, my belly buyyon and I have my nose pierced, with my ears I can't put anything cheap. With any other piercing i REALLY would not recommend putting cheap jewlery but you could try surgical steel, it is hypoallergenic so you might be ok.......... You could also call around to several body piercing places and see what they tell you!! Good luck!!

My nose was pierced with titanium and I had that kind of reaction, but I switched over to stainless and I was fine. Stainless is the way to go if you're allergic.

that's amazingly unusual, yet i think of you took action too quickly-you ought to have stored the ear piercings in for a minimum of a month to work out wthether the inflammation disappears in simple terms with the aid of itself. that's that your lobes are somewhat comfortable for some reason. Get them achieved back with titanium studs and notice what happens-titanium is thoroughly nickel unfastened- you are able to no longer in all probability be allergic to it.

I would think so. I know a girl who had ear infections and couldnt wear earrings, and she peirced her nose. It never healed. It was always crusty and red, it was gross.
I have a pair of HOOKer earrings. Website below..they are fun!
have you ever tried ear cuffs? Those are fun, you just hook em around your ears. I acutally modified an earring hoop, to fit in my nostril, I just pinched it onto my nostril. It looked ok for a hoop.
Ive also heard of magnetic earrings, nose rings, etc.

absolutely, check with your doc or a certified piercing expert before doing anything and don't get your tongue pierced as if you have an allergic reaction and your throat swells up you could have serious problems

It is a distinct possibility that you will have the same problem with a nose piercing. Your body is speaking to you--- No more holes!

Just make sure they use surgical steel, it is hypoallergenic. I have problems with cheap stuff, and my nose is pierced with surgical steel. Haven't had a problem yet.
