I was told by a dell customer service agent that I can go to a store called kiosk and get a dell customized and ordered through their internet. I don't trust my internet, so that's why I would like to go there. Can someone give me a link to a store locator.

Face-to-face service. 175+ US locations. Bag-free shopping.

Come see why we're America's favorite PC at a DellTM Direct Store in a location near you!

Dell Direct Stores are mall kiosks - not franchises - with the same prices and promotions available on Dell.com. The latest Dell Desktops, Notebooks, LCD and plasma televisions, Dell DJTM MP3 players, AximTM handhelds and more are all here. You can talk to a Dell expert face-to-face and find the perfect PC, TV, or DJ just for you. Then customize it, order it, and have it shipped right to your home!

You didn't mention where you live. This site has all of the locaions in which Dell has a Kiosk Store.

Kiosk is not a store name, it is a type of store front. For example, there is a snack store in malls called Auntie Annes. Sometimes they set up little stations in the mall that are further away from the actual store so that if you are on the other side of the mall, you can still buy a pretzel ( which is actually made in the real store on the other end of the mall) get it?

So a Dell kiosk is like a service center, or service desk instead of a huge Dell store.

Kiosks are small stores and maybe as small as a booth like you find in a shopping mall. The Dell kiosks I've seen are fancy benches with roofs, about the size of a small car.

Good question. Without more information about the store, you may want to call dell back and ask for a phone number or other information they might have about the store. Never heard of it.
