if u have what car have u built and where did u get the schematics or layouts of the car. and i'm talkin ever part bought again to make the car. not if u saw the car in te junkyard and u bought and replaced the parts inside.

Google "locost". You'll see lots of plans and web pages for building a replica of a 1957 Lotus 7, which is essentially a sprint car for 2 people.

The book, Build Your Own Sports Car for as Little as £250 and Race It! by Ron Champion gives you a good start.

you can buy kit cars...i dont think its possible to build a car on your own..unless you work at a production plant.

you would have to be pretty darn good to build your own car...
if that includes starting with welding your own frame....
