i noticed a change by week six. we had six week gaps between each treatment. a lot of factors depend on how fast you will see a change. colors such as dark blue, dark green, red and black are the easiest removed, and you will usually see a change on those faster. black ink that is natural such as indian ink vs black ink that has metals and plastics, also tend to fade even faster. other colors are harder to treat, and take longer. how deep the tattoo is done, also affects this. if your tattoo is already raised, it might take longer. this means the tattoo is deeper and the laser has to go through the scar tissue, and it is harder for it to react. i underwent 15 treatments, so it took me about two years. my tattoo's are not completely gone, but enough that i am happy with the results. it just personally took a toll on me financially, spending $300 every six weeks, and towards the end the pain began to get worse and worse, and i opted for the ice, since the topical anesthetic and the injectable lidocaine where an added cost. the reason for the gap is that the laser (medlite c6 is the best one available right now in the market) reacts with the ink, breaking it down. your body then needs time to absorb the broken down particles, and heal from the laser, which takes about 6-8 weeks. the first few treatments, i saw a rapid change

The only way I know of is laser and I hear it is painful. You should never get a tattoo without really thinking about it..........it should never be a spur of the moment thing........they are permanent

Ive heard of Wrecking Balm, advertized on the raido. I dont know if it works, but its cheaper than laser removal. Id give it a try anyway!

Ahh...having tattoo regrets. You could always consider dismemberment. I don't think there is any other way besides covering them up.
