Well....that depends on their gender. If they are male, I expect a strong handshake. If the hand shake is weak or reluctant then I might perceive them as weaker, sly or they have something to hide. Now, if they are a female I would expect a softer handshake due to the fact that their hands are softer and possibly more frail, not to mention that you don't have to worry about the male ego issues (whose stronger than who and all that nonsense) :)

A firm hand shake is only measure in business world. It measure your confident at the point of meeting.
A week handshake at a party, show the shyness of the person. I am sure there are quite a number of guys that love shy lovely gals than highly self confident gal.

No, but hand shakes do mean something. A weak hand shake might suggest that the person is passive, and doesn't like confrontation.

no, I allway give a girls tiny hands a less that full hand shake,I dont know how much she can take,so Iam careful.but I bet she a lot tougher than she looks

for some reason, i sort of do. it just gives me a weaker impression and i end up forgetting them sooner than expected.
