I just brought my Friend to the doctors and she found out she was only a month pregnant. She took a test after being a week late (an over the counter test) and she said it came out positive. SO the 2nd week she tested herself again, and again it was positive. So she went to the doctors. Definately if you THINK you may even be the slightest chance POSITIVE then go see ur doctor... :)

I got my positive test result at 13 days past conception. Two days before my missed periodâ¥

Its about 2 weeks. The first test I took when I got pregnant with my third child was negitive. I started looking at some dates (wasnt planning the pregnancy) and took another test a week later, it was positive.

According to what kind of hpt you take, some can tell you up to five days before your missed period. Depends on the brand, but the % of accuracy are low because of low levels of the HCG hormone. I would wait until you're expecting your period because I've wasted a lot of money on those tests. Hope this helps.

Well if you think you're pregnant because you missed your period then Id take atleast a week after you missed it. But if you're trying to get pregnant and you're not near your period yet then Im not really sure.
