No ... because the front diff and the rear diff rotate in different directions internally. the front gears are called reverse cut because they are lfipped 180 degrees. if they had the same cut as the rear you would get alot of gear noise due to the design.

Sure but if you want to steer right or left a solid axle might be a problem. Now just the center section won't swap. Different size of ring gear almost the same ratio. Smaller gear to get under the engine oil pan.

if you have the same gear ratio, which it should, the internal parts ring and pinion spider gears, bearing should be the same, but not the housing. if you have different gear ratios then your blazer was built with factory left over parts from previous year, I see this a lot with gm and ford vehicles

no I'm sure you cant,,i own a repair shop,,and i have a 91 model and I'm sure it wont fit the gears are different in them,,same ratio,,but designed different to accept the different axles,,good luck i hope this help,s.
