The time machine would be a small remote. And could send you up to 500 years in the past, and up to 500 years in the future. Example-- just type in 2306, and you would be in that year, until you changed the year dial on the remote back to your present time(2006).
The teleporting device would be shaped like a remote also. And you could teleport anywhere on the world that you wanted too. Example-- just type in Disneyland in California. And you will go stright from where you are to well, Disneyland.
I would choose the Teleporting device, what would you choose?

Ya know, it only takes a few hours for me to get from Texas to Disneyland. It will take me 300 years to get to 2306!!!
In a simple way we can teleport now.... You can be anywhere on the earth in less than 24 hours, more or less.
Time travel, now THAT'S something! Go back a few years, buy the right stock, and you could OWN Disneyland!!!!

Both would be pretty nifty to have really. The problem with the Time Machine would be that I would be tempted to never see my final destiny which could be better than any time in the past. So I'll take the Teleporter. Much simpler to understand, fewer complications, and wonderful to have, I have so many places I would love to visit, and my life would be more prosperous, and easier. I hate fighting traffic, gas bills, and all that. I have fewer years to live, and will face hardships, but that is meant to be, and my life would be empty and meaningless with a Time Machine.

What a tough question!
Today, with air travel restrictions being what they are, I think I'd go for the teleportation device. Ten years ago I would have chosen the time machine. Using it now would be too dangerous; I might go back in time and not want to come back.

The teleporting device, because you really don't know what kind of Hell on Earth you could plunge yourself into with a time machine. Good question. Teleporting device with a cloaking mechanism would be the best.

If can use them both without restriction than time machine. If others people, like the police have time machines then teleporter.

Teleporting, most definitely. I've been temping for ages trying to get the perfect part-time job. If i could teleport, it would open up my opportunities infinitely. I wouldn't have to disrupt the childrens schooling to get to work anywhere I needed to. I could get the kids their breakfast in Melbourne, wait for grandma to come and babysit and be at work in Honolulu by 8am. No more travel time worries, brilliant!!

I would definitly go with the teleportation device.free vacations to anywhere sounds good.as for time,i dont belong in any time but now,besides what if you land in a time when the atmosphere is toxic or something like that.

I think I would chose a time machine so I could go back and change things that I did wrong -- sort of back to the future-- and also go and get winning powerball numbers
