The gospels tell us that God so loved mankind he sent his only begotten son to us. Yes GOD LOVES US UNCONDITIONALLY, HE GAVE US FREE WILL. He gave us parents who nurture us but in the end like all good parents he allows us to make our life decisions for ourselves.

He (She? It?) might love mankind as a whole unconditionally, but I don't know that extends to each and every individual. Supposedly, God gave us free will. If we use that will to choose acts which are repugnant to God, according to my reading of scripture, This God has no problem consigning individuals to eternities of torment. Perhaps it is like a parent's love for his or her child. It seems unconditional, but at some point, say after so many rape/murders, the parent can longer have feelings for the person that is (even if he or she retains some feelings of love for the child that was).

If you have an open mind I would recommend reading Deepak Chopra's, " How to Know God: The Soul's Journey Into the Mystery of Mysteries" This is one of the best treatments of man's relationship with God I have ever read. And the weird thing about it is Deepak Chopra isn't even a Christian as far as I know.

No concept is capable of love. If you think that the God of the Christians is a concept, you have answered your own question.

Yes he does. So much so that He gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16. That includes you, my friend.

God's love is unconditional but more importantly God's forgiveness is universal. We do have to keep God's righteousness in mind though too and for those people that chose to reject God's forgivenss, God's righteousness trumps his love, nonetheless, he doesn't stop loving those people.

i suppose it depends on your definition of love. if love means casting you out of paradise for making a mistake or dooming you to an eternity of torment if you're confused about the nature of the universe, then yes, god loves you for ever and ever.
