You also need to take your hair and skin color when considering wearing eyeshadow.
Are you light complected? Maybe use some light browns around the eye lids and seashell peach or pink for highlights.
If your hair is dark, you can make a more dramatic look by using darker colors, like a navy blue around the eyelids.
Or if you have burgundy color hair, a good look is with a reddish brown color.
Have fun and try different looks, if you dont like it-wash it off and start over! Have fun!

The best color for blue eyes is going to be anything in the peach, bronze or orange family. Blue shadow on blue eyes will make your eyes appear less blue. The bronzes will make your eyes appear more blue. I work at MAC, and we do not do makeup for free, but we can definitely help you out, or you can make an appointment and have an hour for us to teach you everything!

I agree with whomever said 'Never wear blue eyeshadow'. Many individuals make the mistake of wearing blue eyeshadow to try and make their blue eyes stand out. WRONG! It won't make your eyes stand out or bring out the blue at all and it does nothing for your eye colour.
Bronzy browns are recommended for blue eyes as they are a contrast to the blue. The brown hues will make your eyes pop and it will look fantastic. ;)

A mistake that most blue eyed people make, is to wear blue eye shadow. Green, grey, very soft pastel shades work fantastically on blue eyes. Blue eye shadow makes your beautiful eyes disappear. You need to enhance your colour, and a soft green is beautiful. Good luck

I suggest you try to match your clothes, But I think with you blue eyes that you use natural colors or try a green. If you have the chance you should go to a Mac store and ask what they suggest......... But always remember to tell them you don't it to look like it is too much. If i was you I would stay as natural as possible then a little heavy on the masc.

NEVER EVER EVER wear blue eye shadow! It actually detracts from your eye color.
Try browns, smokey blacks or greys or believe it or not, neutrals with a tint of orange.
Go to the MAC store at the mall OR Sephora, and they will do your make up for FREE and help you pick out products.

Almay makes eye shadows just for blue eye, all the colors you need come in one compact, and they sell the eyeliners separately. Try those, they're inexpensive and look good.
