If you insist that the word "noise" is a subjective evaluation made by Man only, and a Man is not in the woods, then no, the sound made could not be strictly identified as a "noise".

However if we take the word "noise" to mean "sound", then yes there is a sound, which is simply vibrations sent by the action. That no one is in the woods to hear the sound does not diminish it.

Ofcourse it does, Why?? Because it does, it will make a thud when it hits the ground, twigs will snap, leaves will be crushed and that all makes sound, Here;s one for ya? If your asleep and you Fart does it make a sound?? lol. Same diff.

nope because sound is nothing but vibrations that dont make any sense till put together by the ear
